Bio
Dr. Valeria C. Scott is an anointed woman of God who loves God, His word, and His people. She is President of V.C. Scott Ministries, Inc. which was founded in December 2002. She is also Pastor and Founder of the New Testament Deliverance Church in Washington, DC. Dr. Scott was saved on February 9, 1974. In 1975, she united with Faith Temple No. 2 Original Freewill Baptist Church in Seat Pleasant, MD under the leadership of Bishop L. N. Forbes.
In March 1978, the Lord instructed Pastor Scott to go and pray on her lunch hour. As a result, the Noon Day Prayer Group was started where she served as the Noon Day Prayer Group Leader from March 1978 until December 2000.
In May 1980, Pastor Scott made her ministry publicly known to declare the Word of God. She preached her Initial Sermon in April 1981 and was licensed and ordained an Evangelist by the Northern Original Freewill Baptist Conference in Wilson, NC in 1982 by Bishop L. N. Forbes, President of the Conference.
Pastor Scott was a faithful member of Faith Temple No. 2 Original Freewill Baptist Church in Capitol Heights, Maryland for 14 years before God sent her out to establish the Pastor. New Testament Deliverance Church was established in May 1989 where Pastor Scott is both the Founder and Pastor. Its first official service was held on June 6, 1989 at the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC, where services are still being held. V. C. Scott Ministries was founded by Dr. Scott in December 2002 where she serves as President. This Ministry is located in Capitol Heights, Maryland and is also an extension of the Noon Day Prayer Group.
Dr. Valeria C. Scott received a Degree of Doctor of Divinity from the Tennessee School of Religion in June, 2007. She is a much sought after speaker and continues to minister in different arenas such as revivals, retreats and conferences throughout the United States. She has traveled abroad to Israel, Mexico, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
Pastor Scott was married for 48 years before her husband went on to be with the Lord, as well as her only son, in 2010. Pastor Scott has a daughter, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Pastor Scott desires the prayers of the righteous.
